At Novaris, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to leave education with the confidence, skills and connections needed to build a successful career.
That's why we're excited to announce our plans to launch the Novaris Schools Pilot in January 2027.
The pilot is being designed to bridge the gap between education and employment by working in partnership with local schools, employers and experienced business mentors across South Buckinghamshire.
A Different Approach
For many young people, the transition from education into employment can be daunting. While academic qualifications remain important, employers consistently tell us they are also looking for confidence, communication skills, problem-solving ability and real-world workplace experience.
Novaris has been created to help develop exactly those qualities.
Our pilot programme will provide participants with a structured, mentor-led experience that combines practical workplace exposure with personal development and employability coaching.
A 12-Week Journey
Each participant will take part in a carefully designed 12-week programme, working alongside experienced mentors from a wide range of industries.
Throughout the programme, participants will have the opportunity to:
Develop confidence and professional communication skills.
Experience real workplaces and different career paths.
Learn how businesses operate.
Receive guidance from experienced professionals.
Build teamwork, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Create a stronger CV and prepare for interviews.
Expand their professional network.
Rather than treating work experience as a one-off placement, Novaris aims to create a structured journey that helps young people understand both the opportunities available to them and the skills employers genuinely value.
Building a Talent Pool
One of the most exciting aspects of Novaris is what happens after the programme finishes.
Every participant who successfully completes the pilot will become part of the Novaris Talent Pool—a growing community of motivated young people who have demonstrated commitment, enthusiasm and employability.
Our employer partners will be able to access this talent pool when recruiting apprentices, trainees and entry-level employees, creating a direct pathway from education into employment.
Working Together
The success of the pilot depends on collaboration.
We're currently working with schools, employers, local organisations and community partners to develop a programme that delivers real value for everyone involved.
By bringing together education and industry, we hope to create opportunities that benefit young people, strengthen local businesses and support the future workforce of our region.
Interested in Getting Involved?
Over the coming months we'll be sharing more information as the programme develops.
Whether you're:
a school interested in participating,
an employer able to offer workplace experiences,
a business leader willing to become a mentor,
or an organisation that shares our vision,
we would love to hear from you.
Together, we can help create a smoother transition from education into meaningful employment—and give young people the confidence, experience and support they need to thrive.
January 2027 is just the beginning.
